After an early breakfast, proceed for the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. The holy shrine, situated at an altitude of about 5,300 ft. in the Trikuta Hills, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. Pilgrims undertake a 13 km trek from Katra to reach the holy cave, where the divine energies of Mata Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati are enshrined.
